Several techniques for implant surgery without imposing a heavy burden on the patient, including incision of the gum and increasing the bone, will be presented.

Implant placement surgery usually involves incision of the gum ridge.
However, the following technique allows implant placement without cutting the gums (flapless implant surgery).

Natural processes due to serious gum disease and prolonged tooth loss often result in bone loss in the jaw.
Conventionally, an implant could not be placed in such cases without increasing the bone.
However, CT and computer simulation now allow thorough diagnosis and accurate surgical planning. Thus, implant treatment may be possible without bone augmentation/bone grafting (graftless) depending on the clinic environment and the patient’s condition.
